WordPress administration

The login page uses wordpress_test_cookie to check cookie support and the session cookie wp_lang to remember the selected login language. Signed-in administrators use wordpress_sec_* and wordpress_logged_in_* for authentication and wp-settings-* / wp-settings-time-* for interface preferences. Authentication is normally session-based, or up to 14 days when Remember Me is selected; interface preferences may persist for one year. These are necessary for secure administration and are not placed on anonymous visitors simply browsing our service pages.
